The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, realizing the vision of His Eminence the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos II, within the framework of the project "Development of Three-Dimensional Productions for the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas in Boeotia" under the action "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches," with the contracting authority being The Institute for Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the project contractor being Foundation of the Hellenic World, presents a virtual reality production for the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas in Boeotia.

Travel to Athens of the 5th century BC, where you will see all the buildings that were on the "Sacred Rock" reconstructed before your eyes in every detail and to their actual scale and dimensions. Using new technologies, the viewer has the opportunity to admire the most complex buildings of the Acropolis from an architectural perspective, such as the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Propylaea, as well as the statues that adorned them in 3D and in their natural colors, as they were when they were created.

The 3D film titled "Darwin: The Mystery of Nature" is presented in the Tholos, the Virtual Reality theater of the Hellenic Cosmos, since November 2011. The impressive graphics on the 360° screen of the Tholos, the music by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, and the narration by actor Giannis Bezou, guarantee that the film "Darwin: The Mystery of Nature" will "enchant" both young and old.

The ancient city of Priene in Asia Minor, the most extensively excavated Hellenistic city of Asia Minor and an excellent example of Hellenistic architecture, comes to life in the IME production "Tour of Ancient Priene". With the creation of a structured environment that is clear and balanced, the city expressed the mature philosophical and political thought of the classical era. Public buildings, private residences, and temples are the stops on this tour of the Anatolian city.

Educational Programs
The «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children 5 to 8 years old, which are designed and implemented by the Museological-Educational Department and take place in all the fully equipped indoor and outdoor spaces of the «Hellenic Cosmos».
The children's choir of the Foundation of the Hellenic World invites children aged 8 to 18, who love music, to become part of a vibrant community of sound, expression, and joy. No musical knowledge is required, only the desire to join your voice with others and discover the magic of collective creation. Each rehearsal is an experience that cultivates the voice, strengthens the soul, and creates collective soundscapes full of harmony and emotion. The children's choir will be conducted by Matthaea Spitadaki.
The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.

New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
Completion of the Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches"
With the presence of His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos II, the completion event of the co-financed Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches" with MIS 6003375, organized by the Foundation of Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, was held with great success and a large turnout of guests on Thursday, October 3, at the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. The purpose of this project was the digital recording of the valuable ecclesiastical relics of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas, which constitute an important part of our country's cultural and spiritual heritage.
