The alternative summer camp of "Hellenic Cosmos" returns for yet another summer, offering creative activities, entertainment and lots and lots of fun. This summer, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tholos, the virtual reality theatre of The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, and invite you to join us for unforgettable moments! “Summer in the City” transforms into a great and unique celebration of imagination, knowledge and creativity.
Exhibitions
At the exhibition spaces of the "Hellenic Cosmos" permanent and periodic exhibitions are organized, aiming to present various aspects of Greek culture. They are based on modern museological design, utilize high technology, and aim for active visitor participation. All exhibitions are accompanied by educational programs organized and implemented by the Foundation's museum educators. Furthermore, they are complemented by Virtual Reality applications and Internet hubs that provide additional information, games for students and educators, as well as print and electronic publications for all ages.

Vlasis Fryssiras – Double Portrait: The Collector, the Painter
The Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Centre presents the painting exhibition “Vlasis Fryssiras – Double Portrait: The Collector, the Painter”, opening on 28 September 2026. The exhibition explores every aspect of the lifelong relationship that Vlasis Fryssiras, one of Greece’s most distinguished art collectors, developed with the art of painting.

The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.

A Memorandum of Cooperation aiming to promote Greek tradition, Greek culture and history, Greek language education, as well as the Greek creative sector, was signed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Maira Myrogianni, and the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister responsible for Greeks Abroad, Yiannis Loverdos.
New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
