The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children aged 5 to 8*, which are designed and implemented by the Museum Education - Educational Department and take place in all the fully equipped indoor and outdoor spaces of the "Hellenic Cosmos".

*Selected programs are addressed to children up to 12 years old

Sunday, October 4, 2026 - The Mystery of the Missing Sheep NEW
We celebrate World Animal Day

The whole farm is in turmoil… The dog, the farm's loyal guard, counts and recounts the sheep, and one is missing. He is sure that something has happened and asks for our help. We transform into little "detectives" and begin our investigation. What "surprises" await us when we meet the cow, the hens and the little pigs?

Sunday, October 18, 2026 - With a Little Brush and Trowel … the Excavation Begins
Family Educational Program for children aged 7-12, with their parents

We celebrate World Archaeology Day and transform into archaeologists for a day! But how does an excavation take place? What objects do we find? Which tools will we need to uncover finds that have been hidden in the soil for centuries? Children and adults alike will carry out our own excavation in the specially designed excavation pits of the "Hellenic Cosmos".

Part of the educational program will take place outdoors, in the specially designed excavation pits of the "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre at Building 9.

Sunday, October 25, 2026 - Knossos… the Palace of Myths and Mysteries

Colorful frescoes, a "strange" script, vessels, children's toys and a ball of thread unraveling in the labyrinth of Knossos. Myths, riddles and mysteries... will they help us find the much-sought-after exit?
