Sunday Educational Programs for children aged 5–8*

The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children aged 5 to 8 years*, which have been designed and are implemented by the Museum Education - Educational Department and take place in all fully equipped indoor and outdoor areas of the "Hellenic Cosmos".

*Selected programs are addressed to children up to 12 years old

Sunday 22 February 2026 - Carnival Treasure Hunt (Family program)

Young and old in action… King Carnival must be set up but all the equipment has disappeared! Instructions, riddles and puzzles will lead us to secret hiding places. With good cooperation, cheerfulness and creativity, King Carnival will make his appearance at the "Hellenic Cosmos"… and the celebration begins!

Sunday 1 March 2026 - Talos… the oldest robot in the World

Talos, the first robot constructed by Hephaestus, invites us to travel to the island of Crete to meet him. Come aboard the Argo at the "Hellenic Cosmos" and begin together a fantastic sea journey full of unexpected events! Will we succeed, after all?

Sunday 8 March 2026 - Women in Art

Frida Kahlo, Isadora Duncan, Nelly, Thaleia Flora-Karavia… Who are these women who left their indelible mark on the world of the arts? On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a visual “workshop” comes to give us the answer and bring us into contact with the work and art of each one. We will be inspired and create our own original artworks!

Sunday 15 March 2026 - International Day of Mathematics | Is There a Solution to Everything? The Mystery of the Lost Numbers…

Euclid, a ten-year-old student who loves mathematics and philosophy, on the day of his birthday receives a strange “gift” that will lead him into a mystery full of “problems” and “riddles” seeking solutions! A marvelous “Journey into the World of Ancient Greek Mathematics,” of music, astronomy and philosophy awaits him, with all of you as fellow travelers!

The educational program will take place within the exhibition «Is There a Solution to Everything? A Journey into the World of Ancient Greek Mathematics» presented at the "Hellenic Cosmos".

If you also wish to become a member of the spaceship “FHW Apollo,” which will soon be launched with destination the Moon, all you have to do is join our group. A space adventure awaits us among constellations, craters, comets and shooting stars! Are you ready? Let’s go…

Sunday 29 March 2026 - Getting to Know Frida Kahlo New

Flowers in her hair, impressive clothes, expressive eyes… Who else could better take us on a journey into the world of colors, nature and emotions than Frida? We will discover the woman-symbol who managed to transform her life into art!

Part of the educational program will take place within the exhibition «Frida Kahlo: Beyond the Icon» presented at the "Hellenic Cosmos".
