Our little friends and their guests will have the opportunity to participate in the specially designed educational programs by the Museum Educators of the "Hellenic Cosmos" for this special day and watch a Virtual Reality screening in the "Tholos", while parents/escorts spend their time in the welcoming space of The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, specially configured for the event.

Captain Bandaga is no longer alive, after many years. But his fame has not faded! It remains alive through the passage of time! Everyone knows that he has hidden his legendary treasure on his faraway island. What will happen when the old, worn-out map falls into the hands of our aspiring pirates? Will they manage to decipher the clues and live the adventure?
Readiness and quickness Activities inspired by the magical pirate world! We play and test our endurance as well as our observational skills.
❊ A Hole is a Hole and it brings us Laughter!
A hole here, a hole there, a hole further away… If you think about it, there are holes everywhere around us! Some big and some small, some black-and-white or even colorful, perhaps funny or scary, they sweep us into unusual games. Have you considered how much training someone needs to become a great and mighty hole-digger?
Activities of observation, accuracy, and movement meet and create a different program on the occasion of holes.

How does a graffiti load balloons onto our backs? Why do Dali's moustaches become a game? Works of art and painters come to fill our celebration with play.
Activities: Movement, observation, memory, and creation games inspired by famous works of art.
❊ For him they were Labors, for us... a game!
We join forces and with speed, intelligence, courage, and daring, we follow the footsteps of Heracles, the most famous hero of all time. Mount Olympus awaits us!
Activities: Games with movement, action, and thought inspired by the labors of Heracles.
❊ Hunting the Dragon
Alarm at the palace! A fearsome dragon has occupied the water spring. Aspiring knights and brave princesses take on the task of driving the dragon far away...
Activities: Tests of balance, agility, accuracy, as well as riddles help us drive the dragon away!
❊ Children in Action
Olympic sports then and now! We discover, experiment, and laugh! We celebrate our friends' birthdays by participating in contests of yesterday and today. Our physical abilities will be tested, but especially our tolerance for laughter.
Activities: Games inspired by ancient Olympic sports events as well as an interactive quiz in the Tholos about Olympic sports.
❊ Is there a solution for everything? The mystery of the lost numbers…
for children aged 9-12 years
Eucleides, a ten-year-old student who loves math and philosophy, receives a strange "gift" on his birthday, which leads him into a mystery full of "problems" and "riddles" that demand solutions. Are you ready, you and your friends, to help him?
Activities: A leaflet with educational activities inspired by the exhibition of ancient Greek mathematics. We test our observation skills as well as our ability to solve mysteries!
The educational program takes place within the exhibition "Is there a solution for everything? A journey into the world of ancient Greek mathematics" presented at the "Hellenic Cosmos" and is supplemented by a ten-minute Virtual tour with the "Inventions of Archimedes."

Educational Programs
The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children aged 5 to 8, which are designed and implemented by the Museum Education – Educational Department and take place in all fully equipped indoor and outdoor areas of the "Hellenic Cosmos".
The choir of the Foundation of the Hellenic World invites children and teenagers aged 8 to 18, who love music, to become part of a vibrant community of sound, expression, and joy under the guidance of music educator Matthia Spitadaki.
The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.

Christmas Dinner of the Friends Association of the Foundation of the Hellenic World
With a bright and festive spirit, the established Christmas Dinner of the Friends Association of the Foundation of the Hellenic World (IME) was held once again this year. The event was honored by the presence of the Board of Directors of the Friends Association of the IME, Sophia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, Executive Vice President of the IME & President of The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, Dimitris Efraimoglou, Chief Executive Officer of the IME, as well as the members and friends of the Association.
Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Foundation of the Hellenic World and EKKOMED - Creative Greece for the development of joint actions in the field of digital games and creative technology
The Foundation of the Hellenic World and the Hellenic Center for Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creation - Creative Greece signed a Memorandum of Cooperation defining the framework of their joint actions in the field of digital games, creative technology, and immersive emerging technologies. The Memorandum was signed by Ms. Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the FHW, and Mr. Leonidas Christopoulos, CEO of HCCAMC – Creative Greece.

Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Foundation of the Hellenic World and the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A Memorandum of Cooperation aiming to promote Greek tradition, Greek culture and history, Greek language education, as well as the Greek creative sector, was signed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Maira Myrogianni, and the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister responsible for Greeks Abroad, Yiannis Loverdos.
New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
