The alternative summer camp of "Hellenic Cosmos" returns for yet another summer, offering creative activities, entertainment and lots and lots of fun. This summer, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tholos, the virtual reality theatre of The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, and invite you to join us for unforgettable moments! “Summer in the City” transforms into a great and unique celebration of imagination, knowledge and creativity.
Theatrical Productions
The «Theatron» aims to house contemporary artistic expression and, combined with the infrastructure of the Culture Center «Hellenic Cosmos», to become an important cultural hub for Greece.
The building of the «Theatron» is a multifunctional space with the main design features being polymorphism and flexibility. It has been designed according to the most modern technological and architectural specifications and uses state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, unique for Greek standards.

The building has: the “Antigone Hall” of 1,000 spectators capacity, the “Iphigenia Hall” of up to 650 spectators capacity, the “Ismene Hall”, three foyers with bars on different floors, multipurpose rooms, smaller multifunctional rooms where meetings, press conferences or workshops can take place as well as an underground parking lot of 220 spots and an outdoor parking lot of 170 spots.
The Atrium located at the entrance of the "Theatron" offers additional outdoor space for the events, thanks to the wonderful weather of our city.

“Alekos Came Down from Paradise” arrives this summer at the Atrium of the The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, together with the women who marked his life, his songs from theatre and cinema, as well as his rare personal narrations, in a production by the The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre of the Foundation of the Hellenic World and the Methexis company of Christos Tripodis.

The theatrical play “MANOLIS | heart on four strings” in a new direction by Ioli Andreade comes this summer to the Atrium of the "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre, produced by the "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre of the Foundation of the Hellenic World and Methexis company of Christos Tripodis.

Anna Karenina
The Foundation of the Hellenic World presents the classic masterpiece Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy during the 2026–2027 season at the Theatron of the The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre. Director Petros Zoulias, following the great success of Our Great Circus by Iakovos Kampanellis, undertakes a contemporary adaptation and stage version of Anna Karenina. This is an ambitious large-scale production that will be brought to life under his direction. The title role of the iconic heroine of world literature will be performed by Lena Papaligoura, while Giannis Tsortekis will portray her husband, Karenin.

Following the tremendous success of The Hunchback of Notre-Dame by Victor Hugo, directed by Konstantina Nikolaidi, the production returns for a second season, having been embraced by audiences of all ages for its timeless beauty. New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
