Grandpa Has High Blood Pressure (Summer 2024)
The wild comedy by Dimitra Papadopoulou returns this summer under the direction of Christos Tripodis, premiering on July 5 at the Atrium of the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre, in a production by the company Methexis. Tasos Halkias stars in the role of Grandpa. Joining him are Krateros Katsoulis, Marilou Katsafadou, Dimitra Stogianni, Iro Pektesi, and Aris Antonopoulos.

The Secret of Countess Valeraina
The Foundation of the Hellenic World presents the theatrical play "The Secret of Countess Valeraina" by Grigoris Xenopoulos at the "THEATRON" of the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Centre. The direction of the classical Greek work, considered the masterpiece of Grigoris Xenopoulos, is signed by Petros Zoulias and the role of Countess Valeraina is played by the distinguished actress Nena Menti.

LES MISÉRABLES 2023-2024
The Foundation of the Hellenic World that traditionally stages the largest and most spectacular productions for both young and adult audiences, will present this year the iconic work of Victor Hugo "LES MISÉRABLES". After the huge success of "OLIVER TWIST" by Charles Dickens, the direction and theatrical adaptation of the popular 19th-century masterpiece is signed by Konstantina Nikolaidi, along with a cast of 22 acclaimed and talented actors.

«Το Καρναβάλι των Ζώων» του Camille Saint-Saëns
Η εταιρεία θεατρικών παραγωγών ΜΕΘΕΞΙΣ και ο Χρήστος Τριπόδης παρουσιάζουν το διασημότερο μουσικό παραμύθι που έχει γραφτεί για παιδιά, «Το Καρναβάλι των Ζώων» (Le Carnaval des animaux) του Camille Saint-Saëns στο «Θέατρον» του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού «Ελληνικός Κόσμος», στην αίθουσα «Ιφιγένεια». Το έργο παρουσιάζεται σε κείμενα του Γιώργου Γαλίτη και ενορχήστρωση του Αλέξανδρου Γκόνη, σε μεταγραφή για πιάνο, βιολί, φλάουτο, βιολοντσέλο, μεταλλόφωνο και κρουστά.

My Beloved Smyrna In Concert
Andreas Katsigiannis, the composer of the theatrical play and the film "My Beloved Smyrna," comes for two unique concerts at the "Theatron" of the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. This is the same venue where Mimi Denissi's theatrical performance was sold out for three consecutive years. Along with the Estoudiantina Neas Ionias, Glykeria, Pantelis Thalassinos, Thodoris Mermigas, and Sofia Mermiga, they will perform musical moments and songs from both the play and the film, written by Mimi Denissi and directed by Grigoris Karantinakis.

The best performance about the life of Rudolf Nureyev, the greatest dancer of the 20th century, is coming to the Hellenic Cosmos! The "phenomenon" performance about the life of Rudolf Nureyev, with over one million viewers worldwide, is coming to Athens as part of its pan-European tour! Λάχανα και Χάχανα - Ο Καλός μου Εαυτός
Μετά τη θερμή ανταπόκριση του κοινού, η παιδική σκηνή του Χρήστου Τριπόδη και η εταιρεία ΜΕΘΕΞΙΣ συνεχίζει για δεύτερη χρονιά τις παραστάσεις του μιούζικαλ του Τάσου Ιωαννίδη, «Λάχανα και Χάχανα - Ο Καλός μου Εαυτός» στο «Θέατρον» του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού «Ελληνικός Κόσμος», κάθε Σάββατο στις 17:00 το απόγευμα. Το σύγχρονο αυτό έργο, που έχουν λατρέψει μικροί και μεγάλοι, πλαισιώνεται από ένα λαμπερό καστ ηθοποιών, ζωντανή ορχήστρα επί σκηνής, εντυπωσιακές βιντεοπροβολές, ευφάνταστα σκηνικά και πολύχρωμα κοστούμια, δημιουργώντας μία μοναδική θεατρική εμπειρία για γονείς και παιδιά.

Οι καλλιτέχνες των Mobiles πρόκειται να παρουσιάσουν στο «Θέατρον» την πιο αγαπημένη από το κοινό παράστασή τους, ο Κόσμος μας. Η παράσταση πρόκειται να ταξιδέψει το κοινό από το Holywood έως τον Βόρειο Πόλο οπτικοποιώντας της ηλιόλουστες αλλά και τις σκοτεινές πτυχές του κόσμου που ζούμε με έναν συνδυασμό κίνησης, ποίησης, κωμωδίας, δημιουργίας και ακρίβειας.

Educational Programs
The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children 5 to 8 years old, which are designed and implemented by the Museological-Educational Department and take place in all the fully equipped indoor and outdoor spaces of the "Hellenic Cosmos".
The choir of the Foundation of the Hellenic World invites children and teenagers aged 8 to 18, who love music, to become part of a vibrant community of sound, expression, and joy under the guidance of music educator Matthia Spitadaki.
The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.

Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Foundation of the Hellenic World and the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
A Memorandum of Cooperation aiming to promote Greek tradition, Greek culture and history, Greek language education, as well as the Greek creative sector, was signed on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Maira Myrogianni, and the Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Hellenic World, Sofia Kounenaki Efraimoglou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister responsible for Greeks Abroad, Yiannis Loverdos.
New collaboration of the Foundation of the Hellenic World with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida
The Foundation of the Hellenic World is launching a new collaboration with the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotida for the digitization and digital promotion of 15 churches-monuments and 60 mobile relics of high cultural, historical, and religious significance under the responsibility of the Metropolis of Fthiotida, as well as the creation of 11 religious routes-destinations and their online presentation using advanced information and communication technologies.
Completion of the Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches"
With the presence of His Beatitude Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Ieronymos II, the completion event of the co-financed Project "Digitization of Sacred Relics of Parish Churches" with MIS 6003375, organized by the Foundation of Pastoral Education of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, was held with great success and a large turnout of guests on Thursday, October 3, at the «Hellenic Cosmos» Cultural Centre. The purpose of this project was the digital recording of the valuable ecclesiastical relics of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens and the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas, which constitute an important part of our country's cultural and spiritual heritage.
