Priene of Ionian Asia Minor, the most extensively excavated Hellenistic city of Asia Minor and an outstanding example of Hellenistic architecture, comes to life in the FHW production «Interactive Tour of Ancient Priene». The city of Miletus on the western coast of Asia Minor, one of the most important cities of Ionia, is revived in the Virtual Reality production «Interactive Tour of Ancient Miletus». In the Archaic period, Miletus was the stage of the most important scientific discoveries. At the beginning of the 6th century BC, the Milesians Thales, Anaximander and Anaximenes, seeking the primary elements of the world, laid the foundations for the development of a scientific, causal interpretation, free from mythical genealogies. |
