The Laborer on the Roof
This winter, Lakis Lazopoulos climbs onto the roof. Following exactly the path of the nerves of the average Greek. A house sinks, the river overflows, no one will be left. The river sweeps everything away! On the roof, Lakis Lazopoulos, as a modern-day Odysseus, sinks just as our lives sink today. The past begins to knock insistently at the door and demands to take its place. The story of the Modern Greek from 1960 until today, the dissolution of the “we,” the rise of the “I,” the descent of emotions, the passage into corruption, the ridicule of the Greek in history.

Toneelhuis - Guy Cassiers | «Mephisto Forever»
With a performance centered on the satanic allure of power, the pioneering Guy Cassiers – director of the largest theater in Flanders – is introduced to the Greek audience. Based on Klaus Mann's novel *Mephisto* (1936), which focuses on an actor's collaboration with the Nazis, the production *Mephisto Forever* (the first part of the "Power Trilogy") addresses, in contemporary terms, the issues of art and politics, passion and opportunism. The serious and sarcastic tone of the text, the powerful performances, and the direction – a blend of theatrical poetry and technology – result in an explosive cocktail.

A musical-theatrical reflection on the final days of consumption. What will follow? The corrupt and claustrophobic lifestyle of corporate and family hierarchies tries to protect its assets and privileges. It continuously installs more and more security systems, bugs, and surveillance cameras.

Konstantinos Rigos | "Dressed Naked"
Dressed-naked, "cover" and "reveal." The body as a tool of beauty or as a machine of decay is the field where Konstantinos Rigos’ new performance unfolds. The protagonists are two men without identity, dressed in modern everyday clothing. As the action progresses, they will shed their clothes, intentionally or unintentionally, to remain as two naked bodies within a defined space from which they cannot escape. The space, empty of objects, emphasizes the isolation surrounding the figures and makes their forced coexistence painfully tangible.

Εκπαιδευτήρια Σ. Αυγουλέα-Λιναρδάτου - Ταξίδι εξήντα δημιουργικών χρόνων
H Σύγχρονη Σχολή Σ. Αυγουλέα-Λιναρδάτου γιόρτασε στις 6 Μαΐου 2009 τα εξήντα της χρόνια στην εκπαίδευση με μια χοροθεατρική-μουσική παράσταση στο «ΘΕΑΤΡΟΝ» του «Ελληνικού Κόσμου». Η παράσταση παρουσίαζε την πολύπλευρη δράση του σχολείου, συνδυάζοντας το χοροθέατρο, τη μουσική τη φωτογραφία αλλά και την εικονική πραγματικότητα.

Family educational programs for children aged 3-5 years, along with their parents. Experiential activities with themes inspired by mythology, the Greek diet, space, and prehistory.
The "Hellenic Cosmos" Cultural Centre offers Educational Programs for children aged 5 to 8, which are designed and implemented by the Museum Education – Educational Department and take place in all fully equipped indoor and outdoor areas of the "Hellenic Cosmos".
The choir of the Foundation of the Hellenic World invites children and teenagers aged 8 to 18, who love music, to become part of a vibrant community of sound, expression, and joy under the guidance of music educator Matthia Spitadaki.
The “Hellenic Cosmos” welcomes the new school year with new educational programs and activities that cater to all age groups. The programs are designed and implemented by the Museum Educators Department. Children are encouraged to collaborate, observe, investigate, and create.
