With a performance focused on the satanic allure of power, the pioneering Guy Cassiers – director of the largest theater in Flanders – is introduced to the Greek audience. Based on Klaus Mann's novel *Mephisto* (1936), which focuses on an actor's collaboration with the Nazis, the production *Mephisto Forever* (the first part of the "Power Trilogy") addresses, in contemporary terms, the issues of art and politics, passion and opportunism. The serious and sarcastic dimension of the text, the powerful performances, and the direction – a blend of theatrical poetry and technology – result in an explosive cocktail.
