The Foundation of the Hellenic World celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Cultural Centre "Hellenic Cosmos" and the opening of the new building "Theatron" with two events that took place on March 20 and 21, 2008. The event of March 20 was addressed by H.E. the President of the Republic Mr. Karolos Papoulias, while the event of March 21 was honored by the presence of the Minister of Development Mr. Christos Folias.
The curtain of the "Theatron" opened with a special performance–presentation, created especially for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the "Hellenic Cosmos", directed by Giannis Kakleas. With a unique spectacle of music, image and sound and with the participation of more than forty actors, dancers and musicians, Giannis Kakleas recreated the past, present and future of the "Hellenic Cosmos". 
The performance culminated in an impressive finale by the great performer Haris Alexiou, who through three songs ("S' to 'pa kai s' to xanaleo", "Synnefiasmeni Kyriaki", "Odos Aristotelous"), specially selected for the performance, depicted the history of Greek song. Accompanied by all the actors and with the accompaniment of only one instrument for each song, she created a unique emotional atmosphere at the event.
Dozens of personalities from the political, business, artistic and social spheres honored with their presence the two landmark evenings for the Foundation of the Hellenic World.
